Come and take a look around, try various activities and meet our fantastic team – they will be on hand to answer all of your enquiries.

You don’t have to be a member of our leisure centre or have visited us before to get involved in our Big Open Weekend, so why not bring your friends and family along too?

Swimming Lessons Taster Sessions

Saturday

Try out our swimming lessons with a free taster session! Perfect for all ages and abilities – build confidence, learn new skills, and have fun in the water.

  • Junior 1: 10am - 10:30am
  • Pre-School 1: 10am - 10:30am
  • Rookie Lifeguard: 10:30am - 11am
  • Junior 1: 11:30am - 12pm
  • Adult Beginners: 12pm - 12:30pm
  • Senior 1: 12:15pm - 12:45pm
  • Junior Beginners: 12:30pm - 1pm
  • Junior 4: 1:30pm - 2pm

Rookie Lifeguard

Our Rookie Lifeguard sessions help build rescue and lifesaving skills including responding effectively in emergency situations, and staying safe in, on and around water. 

Session running at Saturday 10:30am and Sunday 11am.

Senior Swimming

They've learnt the basics, but now they want to refine their skills? Our senior sessions give them a taste of what they can learn and have fun!

Learning to swim isn't just for kids, our adult swimming sessions are perfect for those looking to learn a lifesaving skill no matter their age.

Our friendly gym and fitness team will be on hand to help, show you around and provide free inductions where you get chance to get on some of the equipment and make yourself familiar with the centre.

Our cafe will be open from on the weekend, perfect for fuelling up after fun activities!

Head to the back of the cafe to enjoy our free bouncy castle across the weekend from 10am - 4pm too, what better way to burn some of that energy!

Body Balance Ideal for anyone and everyone, Body Balance is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During Body balance an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm and centered.

Circuits Circuit classes are high energy and fast-paced workout that can help tone your body, shed fat and involves moving your way around different exercise stations performing each exercise as many times as you can in a set amount of time, with rest periods between or at the end of each full circuit completion.

Body Pump Get fighting fit in record time Body pump is the original barbell class, the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit and fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, body pump gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 400 calories. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music, helping you achieve much more than on your own. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
